My names is Sarah Steele, and I'm a 20 year old delegate from Arkansas to General Conference.

Join me in prayer as I prepare for and experience the amazing things God has in store for the United Methodist Church through the work done in Tampa, Florida.

Feel free to explore this site! I have info on the Arkansas Delegation, myself, definitions of confusing terms, and all kinds of music, photos and stories. I hope you take away at least three things from your visits here:

1) A better knowledge of the work involved as delegates spend the year preparing for GC
2) A wider understanding of what happens at General Conference and the conversations taking place across the global church.
3) A chance to get to know me - Sarah - and see how my faith is being shaped by my experiences, and how my experiences are being shaped by my faith.

Thanks for dropping by, and have a blessed day!

1 Thessalonians 5:15-19 seemed appropriate during Annual Conference when we were talking about the need to allow the Spirit to move through our work. “See the none of you repay evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to all. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in you. Do not quench the Spirit.”

Though we cannot think alike, may we not love alike? May we not be of one heart, though we are not of one opinion? Without all doubt, we may. Herein all the children of God may unite, notwithstanding these smaller differences.
